Our Work
Rap Soda
Equity partnership covering global brand scaling, celebrity and artist deal-making, creative production, and retail expansion beyond Quebec.
Project Overview
Primary challenge
Taking a Quebec-born soda brand with real grocery traction and turning it into a name that travels. Rap Soda had the product – zero sugar, probiotic, exotic flavours, and an energy line in Rap Soda Power – and it had the shelf space, moving through Metro, Super C and Jean Coutu. What it didn’t have was scale: the distribution, the cultural weight, and the capital structure to compete against multinational beverage budgets on an international stage. The mandate was to grow a regional favourite into a global contender without losing the flavour-first, culture-forward identity that made it work in the first place.
Entered as an equity partner rather than a vendor, aligning agency upside directly with brand growth.
Rebuilt the growth roadmap around the metrics that actually decide a beverage brand's fate: distribution, velocity per door, and repeat purchase - not vanity reach.
- Brokered celebrity and artist deals matched to the brand's music-forward identity.
- Structured partnerships around long-term alignment and equity rather than one-off paid posts, so advocacy reads as genuine and compounds over time.
- Deployed a high-velocity content engine, including AI-assisted product photoshoots, to scale creative output across the full flavour portfolio without a studio day per SKU.
- Produced flavour-led social assets engineered for shelf recall - the can does the work in the first frame.
- Extended the Quebec grocery footprint into new provincial and international markets.
- Built retail-ready creative, trade assets, and activation kits to support each new market entry.
- Equity alignment turns an agency into an operator. The same playbook that manufactures cultural momentum is what opens the next distribution conversation.
The Outcome
From Regional Favourite to Global Contender
Rap Soda moved from a Quebec grocery brand into an internationally positioned beverage company. Celebrity and artist partnerships supplied the credibility layer, a high-volume AI-powered content engine supplied the demand, and equity alignment kept every decision pointed at distribution and margin rather than impressions.
Content Strategy
End-to-end organic content strategy built for shelf recall, category differentiation, and cultural relevance across a large and growing flavour portfolio.
FLAVOUR-LED CONTENT VELOCITY (AI-POWERED)
Maintained a high-frequency publishing schedule across the entire portfolio – Pina Colada, Midnight Melon, Summer Freezer, Boom Boom Paradise, Tokyo White Peach, Razzy and the Power energy line – using AI product photoshoots to give every SKU campaign-grade visuals without a separate production day for each.
CULTURAL VALIDATION THROUGH MUSIC & CELEBRITY
Leaned into the brand’s music-forward name and amplified it through artist and celebrity partnerships, buying instant credibility with a young, culture-first audience that ignores conventional beverage advertising.
RETAIL-TO-SOCIAL LOOP
Turned every new door, region and retail launch into a content moment – and turned the resulting social demand into the proof point that opened the next distribution conversation.
